Amanda is a senior at Eastside High School. She is a member of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Eastside, which is a demanding college preparatory curriculum in the classical liberal arts. Her favorite classes are math and drama. (Click for photo of Amanda.)
Amanda is an avid tennis player and is highly ranked both in the state of Florida and Nationally. She plays on the varsity tennis team at Eastside High School and competes on the National USTA junior tennis circuit.
On November 12, 1997, Amanda signed a "National Letter
of Intent" to play
tennis for
Indiana University in Bloomington. She
will receive a full tennis scholarship starting in the Fall of 1998.
