What better way to stay up on recent Physics-related developments than perusing our Article Archive, or perhaps our Picture Archive? That way, when your next Physics class arrives, you'll be better prepared!
UP News is a monthly undergraduate physics newsletter sponsored by the University of Florida's chapter of the Society of Physics Students, for students, by students. We seek to strengthen the undergraduate physics community at the University of Florida by providing a forum for undergraduates to share their views and experiences with each other and acting as a source of information for opportunities and events in physics.
From the 2008-2009 staff of UP News, welcome to our somewhat new website! It is still growing and will soon be expanded with much more content, though we have a lot now already - all of which you can check out from the menu on the left!
If you've visited us in the past few months, you probably have noticed that our website was in much need of updates. Over the past couple months, however, the UP News site was experiencing some major behind-the-scenes updates. It was an major overhaul that will streamline this website while preserving the "new" look we debuted back in November. If you, our reader, happen to find any errors or issues with the website, please email our webmaster Steven Hochman (lomari_at_ufl).
Our Article Archive is ever-expanding (especially in part to the recent update), so check back often for updates. Right now, all our past articles are available in PDF format, but only the most recent articles are available in web-based format. Enjoy them at your leisure!
So, for now, thank you for visiting. We all hope that this webpage can be informative and entertaining for both physics and non-physics students alike! Be sure to check back as we will soon be adding much more content!
