Dinner venue is the Thomas Center, 302 NE 6th Ave. This building was once a private residence and then in the 1920s to 1960s a hotel serving winter visitors to Florida. Since 1974 it has been owned by the City of Gainesville and is designated as a cultural and events center.

There will be a shuttle service from Physics Department starting at 6pm.

The banquet will take place Friday evening. Dinner will be served at 7pm.

Main menu entrées:
1) Filet Mignon
2) Baked Grouper
3) Stir-Fried Rice with Vegetables

Before dinner there will be a bar serving drinks.

Tickets are available if you are bringing a guest to the banquet. Please pay $50 at the department or at the conference registration for your guest.
