Physics graduate student receives prize for invited talk

Physics graduate student Prachi Sharma received the best presentation SIlver Prize for her invited talk “Optical conductivity of a Dirac-Fermi liquid,” given at the international conference “Low-Energy Electrodynamics of Solids” (LEES) in July 2021. Prachi is one of the few graduate students who was invited to speak at this prestigious conference, and the only one who received a prize. Prachi has succesfully passed  her final PhD exam (advisor, Dmitrii Maslov) in June of this year and will start a post-doctoral position at the University of Minnesota in the fall.
