Research Interests

Research interests include: Theoretical studies of energy deposition in materials by swift ions. In particular, I am interested in the calculation of fragmentation, charge exchange, and direct cross sections, both total and differential, of keV/amu ions impacting small biomolecules. I am also interested in the mechanism of fragmentation and kinetic energy release (KER) of fast ions colliding with energy rich molecules such as digen or polynitrogen.
