Feb. 11 is designated International Women and Girls in Science Day by the United Nations. The official page states, "Since its inception in 2016, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science Forum has been one of the flagship events of the United Nations and a key event for women and girls in science, science experts, policy-makers and diplomats to gather and share their vision, expertise and best practices to achieve Equality and Parity in Science for Sustainable Development."
I've co-organized UF's activities in celebration of this special day since 2017.
