Research Interest :

I'm interested in theory and modeling of magnetic nanostructure devices. I've worked in the ferromagnet/insulator/superconductor tunneling and GMR. I'm also involving in the projects related to magnetic anisotropy and created the periodic table of Fermi surfaces.
I also worked on nonlinear response of clusters when I was an undergraduate student.

  • I was the winner of Gold Prize of the Undergraduate Project Awards (1995), awarded by the Hong Kong Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology. The competitors are science and engineering students from all six universities in Hong Kong. Project title : strongly nonlinear response of fractal clusters.
