Exam 3 (Final Exam) is Saturday, April 27, 12:30-2:30pm. It covers Ch.30 (LR circuits) to Ch.36 (single slit diffraction).

The room to take your exam depends on the first letter(s) of your LAST name:
A-D: Weimer Hall 1064
E-K: Pugh 170
L-Ma: Fine Arts B 0103
Mc-T: Norman Hall 0137
U-Z: Matherly Hall 0018

Students attending the wrong room will receive a zero on the exam.

Note that Exam 3 is closed book. Material you are allowed to bring, including your own single formula sheet, is listed here.

The date and time for the make-up exam is the last day of class, April 24, from 8:20-10:10pm. Room is McCarty Hall A, 1142. Please confirm with Profs. Acosta and Woodard if you expect to be taking the make-up exam. As a reminder, recall that this exam is a make-up for any of the three exams and thus is like a traditional final exam.

You may use 2 formula sheets for the make-up exam.

Given that it is now Spring, it's aleady time to start thinking about the final exam. We propose to NOT make it cumulative this semester, and ONLY cover material from Ch.30-36. i.e. This becomes just Exam 3.

Prof. Paul Avery has kindly agreed to cover lectures Wednesday and Friday this week, as Prof. Acosta had an urgent family matter come up. He will not be able to hold office hours this Friday.

Important info regarding EXAM 1:

Due to a prior conflict with the date of our first exam as announced at the start of term with a major engineering course, we have RESCHEDULED EXAM 1 to Feb.12, 8:20-10:10pm. All students should reexamine their schedules to determine if they have any new conflicts with an exam from a higher numbered course at this new date and time or have a UF sanctioned absence, and if so please let the professors know asap.

Important info regarding EXAM 1: We are aware of a conflict with the date of our first exam, Feb.8, with that for an exam in Statics, EGM 2511. To handle this conflict, we have asked the Registrar to reschedule our exam (for everybody) if at all possible. Once we have a solution we will post further information here.
