The only required text is "Modern Physics" (4th Edition) by Tipler and Llewellyn.

Please note that local bookstores may only stock the new 5th Edition.

Additional News! (08 December 2009)

Final Exam (Group 14E):  Monday, 14 December, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm,

              all material covered, NPB 1001 (the large lecture hall next to

             our regular classroom of NPB 1002, known as small lecture hall).

NOTE: Absences from the Final Exam must be documented to be considered              for “make-up”.  In other words, the “swine flu” policy does not apply to              the Final Exam.  See Syllabus for a detailed description of

             documentation that is needed.

The registration for this course is presently FULL.  There is nothing that I can do to open additional seats, as we have hit the seating limit of the 100 chaired classroom.  To those seeking admission: my only suggestion is to try to add the course during the drop/add period, as some students might alter their schedules.
