International Day Of Women And Girls In Science Event: Science Day At Depot Park

Mark your calendars! UF Physics is inviting everyone to attend one or both of our “International Day of Women and Girls in Science” events next week on February 10 & 11.

• Friday, Feb. 10: Public Lecture by Dr. Anna-Lisa Paul, Director of the UF Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research, and Research Professor in the UF Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Department of Horticultural Sciences. Her talk is titled “Exploration science – going boldly in plant space biology” and will be from 6-7 pm in NPB 1001.

• Saturday, Feb. 11: Science Day at Depot Park with STEM demos and activities hosted by UF student organizations, 10 am to noon.

International Women and Girls' Day in Science Day

Due to Rain, the UF Physics for Science Day at Depot Park with STEM demos and activities hosted by UF student organizations was rescheduled to April 8, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

This event is one of two International Day of Women and Girls in Science events hosted by University of Florida’s Department of Physics.
